[Romans 6:23 “.. but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord.]

In our generation that is plagued with many sickness and disease, life is very elusive to many people. Many people are battling life-threatening conditions, many are moving from hospital to hospital, fighting for their life. Some are on permanent medication. Life seems to be elusive to many. Many will be willing to give any amount of money in exchange for life. Unfortunately, there is no amount of money that can buy life. The good news is that we don’t have to give money to buy life. Our opening verse says “.. the gift of God is eternal LIFE.” So God has given Life as a free gift through Jesus Christ. Not just life but eternal life. Eternal life is the Spirit Life of the living God. When anyone receives Jesus Christ, they receive this life. If you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have received this gift of God – the eternal, indestructible, eternal, spirit life of the living God! You find someone battling a life threatening condition, share with them this good news. Eternal life is the gift of God and is freely available to everyone, all we need is to believe – for whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life(John 3:16). If you have believed in Him, fear not, you cannot perish, you have the eternal spirit life of the living God. If you master this life, you can never perish no matter what is discovered in your body, glory to God.

[Luke 22:31-32: And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail….”]

Acts 10:38 reveals sickness comes from the devil, it’s not just some blood sugar levels…or minor surgery no..no..Satan is behind it and from our opening verse, he is determined to “sift you as wheat” in other words, Satan is determined to destroy you! However, listen to the prayer of Jesus for Peter when Satan was determined to destroy him: “I have prayed for you that your faith shall never fail..” This means our faith is the determinant factor whether the enemy prevails or not. Why couldn’t Jesus say – Satan is determined to destroy you but don’t worry, I will take care of him? ” Our faith is central for the power of God to work in our bodies. So build your faith strong. No matter the symptoms, don’t allow your faith to cave in. We build our faith by feeding our spirit on the Word of God. You constantly feed yourself on the Word until the meditation of your heart is in the Word. Until you are saturated with the Word. Many are sick but they are preoccupied with the issues of this life, they keep researching on the condition, following the wisdom of men. It’s not possible to win the battle against Satan this way. Build your Faith through hearing the word, meditating on the word, and proclaiming the word by faith.

[Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, CONVERTING THE SOUL; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;]

1 US Dollar is equals to 322ZWL, Zimbabwe currency. If a Zimbabwean travelled to the US with Zimbabwe currency, their money will have no value in the US. So they will have to convert into US Dollar to buy anything in the US. To convert is to change into another form. In human terms we call it to transform. To go to another level in your life you have to “convert” or “transform” to another version of you. Someone said you can never go to to the next level of your life with an old version of yourself. Just as you cannot trade in the US using Zimbabwe currency. You want to go to another level of your life, you must be transformed. Our opening verse reveals the word of God has the power to “convert your soul.” Your soul hosts your mind. The Word of God has the power to transform your mind and propel you to the next level of your life. It has nothing to do with your employer, or the government, if commit to Mind Transformation through the Word, your life will change. Joshua 1:8 says If you take the word seriously, study meditate on it every day, you will make your life prosperous. So get started today, create time for Bible Study and meditation in the Word and watch your life change.

[1 Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.]

Receiving the Holy Spirit is for everyone Christian including professionals – whether a doctor, lawyer, pilot, carpenter etc. Some assume the Holy Spirit is only for Pastors and spiritual leaders – no. Every Christian must receive the Holy Spirit of course number 1 because it is impossible to live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit. Secondly because the Holy Spirit is the giver of life (John 6:63). Then thirdly because the Holy Spirit is the master of innovation. Our opening verse reveals the Holy Spirit is the one that reveals the deep things of God. This revelations include business ideas, new products etc. All innovation comes from the spirit. It may be from the spirit of the world or the Spirit of God. Unfortunately, many innovations today are coming from unbelievers which means it is the spirit of the world revealing to them. Why is this so? Because many Christian professionals have ignored the Holy Spirit and they rely only on their intellectual knowledge. This will only make you an employee working for an idea someone else innovated because ideas comes from the Spirit. So every Christian professional must be filled with the Holy Spirit in order to receive innovative ideas from God. We see Joseph was a senior government official whom the Holy Spirit revealed the coming 7 years of plenty and 7 years of economic hardships. The Holy Spirit gave him a a strategy to ensure the nation is stable even in the 7 years of economic hardships. Daniel was also a succesful government consultant that three governments all reconised him because he was filled with the Holy Spirit. No matter what you do, embrace the Holy Spirit and you will have extraordinary success.

*[Matthew 8:17AMP so that He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He Himself took our infirmities [upon Himself] and carried away our diseases.”]*

Our opening verse reveals Jesus Christ, through His finished work on the cross took away our infirmities and carried away our diseases. Notice it is past tense, Jesus already took away our sickness. So what about the pains in our bodies? It is Satan trying to do what he did to Jesus in Mathew 4. After Jesus was baptized, Mathew 3:17 says God said to Him “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” So God affirmed Jesus as His Son. Just 3 verses later in Mathew 4:3, Satan came and challenged Jesus what God had already affirmed by saying “If you are the Son of God..” God already declared Jesus as His Son and yet Satan came to challenge Him “if you are the Son of God..” This is what is happening when a believer is attacked by sickness. Jesus already took away our infirmities and carried away our diseases so by His stripes we are already healed but Satan is challenging our healing by saying “If you are truly healed…” So what should we do? Exactly what Jesus did, use the word of God. Jesus responded by declaring God’s Word. 2 times He said “It is written…” and the 3rd time He said “It is said..” and the devil had to flee. So we use the Word of God to destroy the fiery darts of the wicked one from our bodies. Everyday, Meditate on the Word, speak the word, affirm the Word, declare the Word over your body and sooner than U think you will realize the symptoms disappeared. We are Spirit beings and that is why it is important to be discipled in the spirit life. We have become partakers of God’s divine nature and therefore the Word of God from our mouth has spiritual power (John 6:63). So don’t cave in to sickness, use the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Eph 6:17) & you will prevail

[Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.]

In our opening verse, God commands us to sow ourselves for righteousness, and seek the Lord till He rains righteousness on us. Why is righteousness so important? Righteousness is our ticket for reighning. Remember, mankind was created to have dominion and rule on behalf of God. However, Satan deceived mankind into sin and consequently, mankind lost dominion. Sin is Satan’s strategy to strip mankind of dominion. That is why Satan today is investing heavily to push many into so sinful and sensual acts. It’s impossible to reign with sin in our lives. Remember David who had never lost a battle, when he committed adultery, his own son organized a coup and removed him from power and David who killed Goliath could not prevail against his own son. Sin stripped David of his dominion. So make no excuse for sin. Sow yourself to righteousness, seek the Lord until He rains His righteousness on you. Remember, in Christ Jesus, you have been made righteous so all you need to do is declare “in the name of Jesus, from today I will walk in righteousness,” then put away childish things and begin to reign.

[John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”]

Kenya is a Christian nation and to be born in a Christian nation has its own disadvantages. One of it is that it is possible to assume that you are a Christian just because since childhood you have been going to church and all along you have identified yourself as a Christian yet you have never been born again. No one is born as a Christian, whether you are born in a Christian nation or you are a Pastor’s son or daughter. There must come a day where you consciously choose to be born again. We become a Christian when we are born again. Jesus repeated 3 times we must be born again in John 3:3, 3:5 and 3:7. So there is no other way, regardless of how ‘good’ someone is, they must be born again to become a Christian. In Mark 1:15 Jesus added “repent and believe the gospel.” So repentance and faith in Jesus Christ are essential to begin our Christian life. Repentance is a deliberate inward decision to turn away from our sins and worldly lifestyle and turn to God. If you have never made this decision, no matter how long U have been going to church, you are not yet born again and therefore you are NOT a Christian according to the teachings of Jesus the Christ, the one whom all Christians follow. So repent and believe in Jesus from your heart, accept and confess Him to be he Lord and Savior of your life and be born again, that will mark the beginning of your Christian life.

Romans 8:14 says “as many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.” Sons of God here refers to mature Son who has grown up to take his inheritance. So spiritual maturity is being led by the Spirit. How do you get started by being led by the Spirit? Begin with following God’s Word. Jesus guarantees us when we keep the Word, He and the Father will come and dwell in us. How does this happen? Thro the Holy Spirit. When we yield to the Word, the Holy Spirit will begin to guide us. If we neglect the Word, obviously we will not obey the Holy Spirit. So take the Word of God seriously. Know the Word and follow the Word, and the Holy Spirit will begin to guide you.

[Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.]

We are living in a an evil generation where people are dying suddenly. You hear someone came from work, went to the gym, in the evening they are gone. In such a generation, you need to know where your stand. Both the natural and spiritual realms operates on laws. Laws are very powerful because they cannot be broken. For instance, the law of gravity cannot be broken. Our opening verse reveals two powerful laws that control life: the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus & the law of sin and death. God created mankind to live the spirit life that is based on the law of the Spirit of life so death had no power over mankind. However, when Adam sinned against God, all mankind came under the law of sin & death. So death gained a legal right to destroy anyone anytime. If u are not born again U are under this law. Death can visit U anytime and u cannot say no because laws cannot be broken. The good news is that Jesus Christ died in our place and set mankind free from the law of sin and death. He brought another law – the law of the Spirit of life. So when u receive Jesus and u become born again and the law of sin and death is broken. All who are in Christ Jesus are no longer under the law of sin and death, but they are under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. So now death cannot take u down just like that. However, as a believer, also know that the enemy rides on believer’s ignorance. If u don’t know this laws you will live in fear and the enemy will can take advantage of you. Understand & always affirm that as a born again believer, you are no longer under the law of sin and death. I decree over your life that death has no power over you. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set U free from the law of sin and death
