Acts 10:38 reveals sickness comes from the devil, it’s not just some blood sugar levels…or minor surgery no..no..Satan is behind it and from our opening verse, he is determined to “sift you as wheat” in other words, Satan is determined to destroy you! However, listen to the prayer of Jesus for Peter when Satan was determined to destroy him: “I have prayed for you that your faith shall never fail..” This means our faith is the determinant factor whether the enemy prevails or not. Why couldn’t Jesus say – Satan is determined to destroy you but don’t worry, I will take care of him? ” Our faith is central for the power of God to work in our bodies. So build your faith strong. No matter the symptoms, don’t allow your faith to cave in. We build our faith by feeding our spirit on the Word of God. You constantly feed yourself on the Word until the meditation of your heart is in the Word. Until you are saturated with the Word. Many are sick but they are preoccupied with the issues of this life, they keep researching on the condition, following the wisdom of men. It’s not possible to win the battle against Satan this way. Build your Faith through hearing the word, meditating on the word, and proclaiming the word by faith.
