When you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit came into your life to make you a success. While Jesus was physically on earth, He made sure His disciples succeeded in everything they did. When Peter’s fishing company was almost shutting down because of no business, Jesus told him what to do and they caught so much fish that even their boats could not carry. Before His departure, Jesus told them ” I will send you another Helper”, referring to the Holy Spirit. This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out.

So the Holy Spirit came into our lives to help us succeed in our God given purpose just as Jesus made the disciples to succeed. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. Train yourself to yield to Him by yielding to the Word of God. Be sensitive to His guidance and direction. For our opening verse reveals you will not succeed by your own power or ability, you will succeed by the divine enablement of the Holy Spirit, glory to God!
