[Acts 20:32 “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.]

In our opening verse, the Spirit through the Apostle Paul says *”I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance”* So as sons of God, we have been commited to the Word of God. In other words, we have been “handed over” to the Word so we are to use the Word of God to build our lives. God has given us access to His Word, the same Word that created all things, God has given us the permission to use the same Word to build our lives. So God does not just expect us to just cry to Him He expects us to use His Word to chart the course of our lives. Without understanding this, you will struggle in your Christian life for long. God wants us to use the Word to chart the course of our lives and even change the seasons of our lives.

For instance, to get saved, we simply used the Word. Romans 10:9 says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” So to get saved, we used the Word of God. We believed and spoke words and verse 10 says with the words we spoke from our mouth, salvation was established. If we could have just cried to God to save us, we could not have been saved yet.

So to change your situation, find the Word of God regarding that situation and begin to speak it over your life and sooner or later, your situation will definitely change, glory to God.
