Through Christ, we have been brought into a life of absolute dominion. Right from the beginning, God created mankind to live in dominion. Unfortunately, through sin and rebellion, mankind lost this life. The good news is that through Christ, this life of dominion has been restored. However, you have to purpose to live this life. You have to decide ‘I will live in dominion.’ Paul had made this decision so he said in our opening verse “All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” He refused to be brought under the power of anything. Many are being controlled by social media, addictions, alcoholism, worldly entertainment etc. You have to refuse to allow any thing to control your life. Through Christ, u have that power. So purpose to live in dominion, exercising power over situations and the circumstances of life, for that is the life Christ has given us, glory to God.
