[Ephesians 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an HABITATION OF GOD THROUGH THE SPIRIT.]

God’s plan right from the beginning is to dwell in man through the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are build or designed to be the habitation of God through the Spirit. This was David’s dream- to host God. He said prophetically in Psalm 132:3-5 that he was not going to bed, or give sleep to his eyes, until he had built a habitation for God. The man was so desperate to host God. David’s desire was fulfilled through our lives on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit violently came down to indwell every believer. From that day when someone receives Jesus as Lord, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in them. So a believer, the Holy Spirit of God dwells in you fulfilling Scripture that now you are a habitation for God. Be conscious of this reality that you are God’s dwelling place, you are God’s tabernacle, He dwells in you through the Holy Spirit. This makes you supernatural. The outcome is – nothing can destroy you for 1 Corinthians 3:17 says *”If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”* Hallelujah!!

[Acts 4:12:Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”](NIV)

Many believers have been deceived to think divine healing is optional, they think there is an alternative to divine healing. So when sickness attacks their bodies, they ignore divine healing until the doctor says, “this is incurable” that is when they begin to seek God for divine healing. By then, the condition has already established dominion over the lives, their faith has been shattered and since we are in a fight of faith, they lose the battle.

Remember, In our Full Life Healing School, we define divine healing as receiving healing through the power of God and therefore is not limited to the wisdom of men(Luke 5:17, Acts 10:38). Today, the church seems to be making a big mistake – abandoning divine healing. Understand this, divine healing has no alternative. It is not that when someone is sick they can either go to the doctor for healing or go to God for healing. Going to the doctor, as much it is not a sin, it is not an alternative to seeking the healing power of God. If God does not heal us, it doesn’t matter where someone goes, they will not be healed. Dr. Hess in the Book Daughter of Destiny, By Jamie Buckingham says “A doctor can diagnose, he can give medication. He can give his patient the best that medical science has given to him and to the world—but in the final analysis, it is the Divine power of God that heals.”

Our opening verse reveals there is absolutely no alternative to the healing power of God. It says *“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”* (Acts 4:12). Receiving healing is being saved or delivered from sickness. There is no other way to be saved from sickness other than through Jesus Christ. We have confined this scripture to mean only salvation of our soul which is not true. Peter was responding to the religious leaders who were demanding an explanation how the paralyzed crippled man was healed. So Peter told them there is no other name by which mankind can be saved or delivered from sickness, other than through the name of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not just deliverance of our soul, it includes deliverance of our bodies from sickness. There is no other way of deliverance from sickness apart from through the name of Jesus. This reveals why the church seems to be loosing the battle to sickness. It is because we have been made to think there is an alternative to divine healing whereas God is clearly telling us there is NONE. If sickness ever attacks your body, pursue divine healing with all your strength, knowing there is no other alternative. Don’t wait until it is too late. Don’t wait until the condition has become a giant and now you are finding it difficult to believe. For neither is there salvation of our bodies “found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

[Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,]

The Apostle Paul in our opening verse is giving an overview of his life and walk with the Lord. He makes a very astonishing statement – that God separated him from the mother’s womb and called him by His grace! Are you aware the same applies to you? Maybe you are wondering why is my life so different? Why do I find myself going a different direction when everyone else seems to be going in a different way? Why do you find yourself hating evil when many seems to be embracing the wrong things? Why is it you can’t talk in a certain way, dress in a certain way, go to clubbing like everyone else? It’s because God separated you from your mother’s womb. In every generation, God sets apart certain individuals for the purpose of using them to fulfill His purposes. In John 15:16, Jesus says *”You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit..”* So God has chosen you & separated you for His own purposes, that you should bear fruits in every area of your life. So stop comparing yourself with the multitudes, don’t compete with anyone, for your pathway is different. For God has chosen you and separated you for His own purposes. Like Paul, be conscious of this reality and always affirm it and you will always be at peace. Glory to God.

[John 6:63 “… The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.]

In our opening verse, Jesus said His Words are Spirit and life. This means the Word of God has spiritual power to produce what it talks about. In every situation, God expects us to use the Word to determine the outcome. In Mark 4:35-41, the disciples were sailing across the sea while Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat. Then they encountered a dangerous storm that the boat was almost sinking. So the disciples in panic woke up Jesus and He simply spoke this words to the storm “Peace, be still!” and the storm responded – the storm ceased! How, the Word He spoke carried spiritual power to what He said. However, this is not limited to Jesus. After He spoke to the storm and the storm ceased, He asked the disciples “where is your faith?” This means Jesus expected them to do what He did – speak to the storm just as He did. This means just as the Words Jesus speaks carries spiritual power, when we speak the Word which is His Word, the same Word carries spiritual power to change every circumstance of life. So no matter the situation that is confronting you, begin to speak the Word of God to that situation, believe what you say and Mark 11:23 says “you will have what you say.” The Word will produce what you say for the Word of God is spirit and life.

[Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.]

Without the Holy Spirit, there is a void of emptiness in our heart that we long to be filled. Some try to fill this emptiness with alcohol, pleasure, sin, music, addictions, money and material wealth etc only to discover they are still empty. Only the Holy Spirit can give mankind satisfaction and contentment. From the above verse, we understand God formed man from the dust of the ground but man could not move or do anything, until God breathed the Spirit into His nostrils and man become a living soul. So it is the Spirit of God that made man to become a living soul. So without the Spirit, we are absolutely empty. We keep searching for fulfillment in things. You want a fulfilling life? GOD instructs us to seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Without being filled with the Holy Spirit, we keep searching and never find. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and you will be filled with the fullness of God and will have no room for emptiness, depression, addictions etc.

[Matthew 9:20-21 And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. 21For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”]

Receiving healing from God is a decision. It is a decision we have to make. This woman was healed from a 12 year incurable blood condition because she made a decision. She made a decision to go and touch Jesus clothes, she made a decision what will be the outcome – she will be healed. You have to make a decision to come for this Full Life Healing Conference. “But God can heal me of he wants to where I am!” That is the voice of the enemy who will do everything to make sure you are not healed. If this woman could have stayed at home, she will NOT have been healed. Anyone who was healed in the Ministry of Jesus they had to make a decision to come to Jesus. Naman had to make a decision to travel from Syria to Israel to receive healing. Jesus said in Luke 4:27 there were *”.. many lepers.. in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was healed except Naaman the Syrian.”* Why? Because Naman made a decision to travel from Syria to Israel to receive healing. Many were in Israel yet they were never healed because they never decided to go for their healing. Healing is your decision. The enemy will give you so many excuses not to come.. “you don’t know Pastor Mike, you can’t go!” If you want to know this is the enemy at work, to those who know Pastor Mike, the enemy says “You know Pastor Mike, what can he do?” Your coming has nothing to do with Pastor Mike, it’s an act of faith in response to God who has commanded us to organize for this Healing Conference. God knows those coming they are not coming to a man, they’re coming to God. When you want Satan to “help” you you go to a witch doctor, when you want God to help you, you go to a man of God. This morning we are praying breaking every lie and voices of the enemy that may hinder all who will hear about this Conference, the enemy will not hinder them from coming in Jesus Name!

[Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”]

You want to dominate the circumstances of life? You have to choose to live by faith? You want to fulfill your God given purpose in a world of opposing factors? it is only by faith. Faith is your ticket to the supernatural life without limits. You have to choose to live by faith. For there is no other way. Faith is the link between the natural and the supernatural. Faith is the bridge between where you are and where God wants you to be. Faith is what gives you dominion over the works of darkness. Without faith, you will be a weak Christian, always tossed up and down by the enemy. Choose to live by faith, because faith is a decision to choose to believe the Word of God even when it does not seem to make sense. Abraham believed against hope and he eventually received the promise. The just shall live by faith. The just shall succeed by faith. Those who draw back into doubt and unbelief cannot stand a chance before the ruthless forces of darkness. So choose to live by faith, for your faith is your ticket to your supernatural life of victory.

[Matthew 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ HEAL THE SICK… ”]

As we prepare for the Full Life Healing Conference tomorrow Saturday 2-6PM, today we are praying for every believer to accept the Healing Commission. The Healing Commission is part of the Great Commission. Just as Jesus commanded every believer to *”Go make Disciples of all nations..”*(Mathew 28:18), He equally commanded us to go minister healing to the sick. In our opening verse, Jesus said *”As you go… heal the sick…”* This is the Healing Commission. Christ has commissioned every believer to heal the sick. However, the church has ignored this area and left it to the witchdoctors and scientists, it was never supposed to be so. As a result, people are dying who are not supposed to die. Ezekiel 34:4 says *”You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick..”* Imagine someone dies, we say God has taken them, or God did not heal them, God is saying “you have not healed them”, that is why they died! This is serious. We have to wake up. Today we are taking time to pray for the church and every believer to accept and embrace the Healing Commission to carry on with the Healing Ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ of healing the sick. And tomorrow, whether sick or not sick, as believers we all gather for the Full Life Healing Conference in Umoja 1 from 2PM to make sure this Healing Service is successful.

[3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.]

Our opening verse above clearly reveals it is God’s plan that we should prosper in ALLL things. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the gospel of prosperity. The gospel is the good news and if we truly receive this good news our life will prosper. The enemy uses religion to try and make ministers of the gospel shy away from preaching what they call “the gospel of prosperity” saying it’s misleading. Paul said “preach the word, in season and out of season.” If the Word says God’s plan is to prosper people then we must preach that word without caring who says what. So no matter where you are God wants you to prosper. Believe it. Don’t feel guilty about it. To prosper is to advance in life. There must be something wrong with anyone who doesn’t want to advance in life. God wants you to advance and succeed. Don’t allow stagnation in your life. If you engage the fundamentals of faith taught in the scriptures you will keep advancing and prospering in life, glory to God.

[Matthew 17:15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.]

From the Scriptures, we understand that sickness is spiritual. Many believers lose the battle simply because we ignore this truth. In our opening verse, a man came to Jesus with a son who was epileptic. How did Jesus heal the condition? Verse 18 says “And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.” Jesus healed the young man by rebuking demon & casting it out. So behind the epilepsy, Jesus reveals there was a demon. This means behind that diabetes, or asthma or blood pressure.. there is an evil spirit.

A believer cannot be possessed but a believer can be influenced by an evil spirit. Like the way the devil influenced Peter’s speech in Mathew 16:23. Satan is not a creator so he uses natural situations to cause evil. So a condition can be diet related but Satan will try to use it to impose sickness on the victim. This is why Jesus healed the sick by casting out devils.

So understand sickness is spiritual. A spiritual problem will only be permanently addressed by a spiritual solution. That is why many treat a condition scientifically, but it keeps recurring. Or you treat this, then something else comes up. We must seek the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives because its the annointing that breaks the yoke of the enemy. Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit. Don’t ignore the healing power of God. Many wake up sometimes when it is too late – when the condition has established itself and now they find it difficult to believe.

Every believer must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Every believer must know how to cast out devils. For Mark 16:17-18 says *”And these signs will follow those WHO BELIEVE.. In My name they will cast out demons….they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”* Glory TO GOD.
