[Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”]

You want to dominate the circumstances of life? You have to choose to live by faith? You want to fulfill your God given purpose in a world of opposing factors? it is only by faith. Faith is your ticket to the supernatural life without limits. You have to choose to live by faith. For there is no other way. Faith is the link between the natural and the supernatural. Faith is the bridge between where you are and where God wants you to be. Faith is what gives you dominion over the works of darkness. Without faith, you will be a weak Christian, always tossed up and down by the enemy. Choose to live by faith, because faith is a decision to choose to believe the Word of God even when it does not seem to make sense. Abraham believed against hope and he eventually received the promise. The just shall live by faith. The just shall succeed by faith. Those who draw back into doubt and unbelief cannot stand a chance before the ruthless forces of darkness. So choose to live by faith, for your faith is your ticket to your supernatural life of victory.

[Matthew 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ HEAL THE SICK… ”]

As we prepare for the Full Life Healing Conference tomorrow Saturday 2-6PM, today we are praying for every believer to accept the Healing Commission. The Healing Commission is part of the Great Commission. Just as Jesus commanded every believer to *”Go make Disciples of all nations..”*(Mathew 28:18), He equally commanded us to go minister healing to the sick. In our opening verse, Jesus said *”As you go… heal the sick…”* This is the Healing Commission. Christ has commissioned every believer to heal the sick. However, the church has ignored this area and left it to the witchdoctors and scientists, it was never supposed to be so. As a result, people are dying who are not supposed to die. Ezekiel 34:4 says *”You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick..”* Imagine someone dies, we say God has taken them, or God did not heal them, God is saying “you have not healed them”, that is why they died! This is serious. We have to wake up. Today we are taking time to pray for the church and every believer to accept and embrace the Healing Commission to carry on with the Healing Ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ of healing the sick. And tomorrow, whether sick or not sick, as believers we all gather for the Full Life Healing Conference in Umoja 1 from 2PM to make sure this Healing Service is successful.

[3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.]

Our opening verse above clearly reveals it is God’s plan that we should prosper in ALLL things. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the gospel of prosperity. The gospel is the good news and if we truly receive this good news our life will prosper. The enemy uses religion to try and make ministers of the gospel shy away from preaching what they call “the gospel of prosperity” saying it’s misleading. Paul said “preach the word, in season and out of season.” If the Word says God’s plan is to prosper people then we must preach that word without caring who says what. So no matter where you are God wants you to prosper. Believe it. Don’t feel guilty about it. To prosper is to advance in life. There must be something wrong with anyone who doesn’t want to advance in life. God wants you to advance and succeed. Don’t allow stagnation in your life. If you engage the fundamentals of faith taught in the scriptures you will keep advancing and prospering in life, glory to God.

[Matthew 17:15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.]

From the Scriptures, we understand that sickness is spiritual. Many believers lose the battle simply because we ignore this truth. In our opening verse, a man came to Jesus with a son who was epileptic. How did Jesus heal the condition? Verse 18 says “And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.” Jesus healed the young man by rebuking demon & casting it out. So behind the epilepsy, Jesus reveals there was a demon. This means behind that diabetes, or asthma or blood pressure.. there is an evil spirit.

A believer cannot be possessed but a believer can be influenced by an evil spirit. Like the way the devil influenced Peter’s speech in Mathew 16:23. Satan is not a creator so he uses natural situations to cause evil. So a condition can be diet related but Satan will try to use it to impose sickness on the victim. This is why Jesus healed the sick by casting out devils.

So understand sickness is spiritual. A spiritual problem will only be permanently addressed by a spiritual solution. That is why many treat a condition scientifically, but it keeps recurring. Or you treat this, then something else comes up. We must seek the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives because its the annointing that breaks the yoke of the enemy. Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit. Don’t ignore the healing power of God. Many wake up sometimes when it is too late – when the condition has established itself and now they find it difficult to believe.

Every believer must be filled with the Holy Spirit. Every believer must know how to cast out devils. For Mark 16:17-18 says *”And these signs will follow those WHO BELIEVE.. In My name they will cast out demons….they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”* Glory TO GOD.

[Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.]

We are fulfilling prophecy, we are filling this generation with the knowledge of the glory of God. Worship and the proclamation of the Word is filling our generation and the Spirit of God is moving mightily!! . In every corner of this nation, the glory of the Lord shall be evident and many shall be saved, healed, delivered and uplifted, glory to God.

[John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.]

There are people who take the word of God for granted – they joke with the Word and even try to twist the Word into their own interpretations. Our opening verse reveals some deep truths about the Word – the Word of God is God! So when we are interacting with the Word we are interacting with God. So if we take the Word of God for granted, we are taking God for granted. The problem is, everything God does He does it through the Word. Psalm 107:20 says “He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.”* So to bring healing and rescue someone from the grave, God uses His Word. This means if we take the Word for granted, we can never be healed if sickness attacks our bodies. When there is danger ahead, God will warn us through the Word. So if we have been used to taking the Word of God for granted, it makes it impossible for God to help us. So take the Word seriously. Understand the Word of God is God talking. It will save your life some day, glory to God.

[John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.]

Our Lord Jesus Christ had a certain consciousness – in John 6:38 above, He boldly declared “I have come down from heaven.” He was conscious of His heavenly divine origin. The Jews thought He was crazy, they asked in John 6:42 “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”They knew Mary the mother of Jesus, they saw her pregnant for nine months, they saw when Jesus was born, they saw Him grow up, yet now He is claiming He came from above! They could not understand Him but Jesus did not bother to explain to them.

Philippians 2:5 says “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” In the same way Christ was conscious of His divine origin, we too must be conscious of our divine origin. The accurate translations of John 3:3 like CJB and YLT versions says “unless a person is born again FROM ABOVE, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” So when we were born again, we were born from above. Therefore, we must have the same consciousness as Christ – we came down from heaven!!

Why is this consciousness important?Consciousness is awareness. The way you perceive yourself. We live according to our consciousness. We can never live different from our consciousness. That is why many have tried to be “Christ-like” and failed miserably, others have been trying to be like Christ forever. To be Christ-like, you must have the consciousness of Christ. So every day, begin to affirm like Christ “I am born from above.. I came from above… the limitations of this world have no power over my life.. I walk in the victory and dominion of Christ!!” You will be amazed your life will change!

[2 Chronicles 16:12 And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians.]

King Asa was one of the best kings God’s people ever had. 2 Chronicles 15:2-3 records “And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God: 3 For he took away the altars of the strange gods..” He destroyed altars of idolatry in the land and commanded the people to seek the Lord.

However, our opening verse reveals when he was sick, he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians. This verse reveals when we are sick, God expects us to seek him. Unfortunately, many believers no longer desperately seek God for healing. We moved to the drug store. Because Asa did not seek the Lord for healing, 2 Chronicles 16:13 records “So Asa rested with his fathers; he died in the forty-first year of his reign.” The man died because he did not seek the Lord for healing.

God is revealing to us the reason why the church seems to be losing the battle to sickness. Many are not seeking the healing power of God. God is telling us His healing power is available, yet many like King Asa, don’t desperately seek Him.

We have to learn from King Asa and wake up. Seek the Lord for healing for Acts 4:12 reveals there is no salvation in any other – if God does not heal us, there is no healing in anywhere else. No matter where we go like King Asa, we will never make it. But if we seek the Lord, and seek Him with all our heart, even incurable conditions shall be healed For the Healing power of God is here with us, glory to God!!

[2 Timothy 4:10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.]

Throughout the Scriptures, God warns us to love not the world. “The world” refers to the systems as well as lifestyle, trends and way of life of our generation.

Our opening verse reveals the consequences of loving the world – you will forsake the Lord. It gives us an example – Demas, who was ministering with Paul but because he loved the present world, he forsook Paul and turned away from serving the Lord.

It is impossible to love the world & love God. James 4:4 tells us “..friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God!” Loving the world, makes you an automatic enemy of God. Why? Ephesians 2:2 tells us the course of this world is contrary to the ways, standards & purposes of God. It also tells us the course of this world is directed by Satan.

So following the course of this world is actually following Satan. That is why people are doing crazy things, they are under the influence of Satan. Yet they may even deny it because they never meet him.

So love not the world, don’t go the direction of the multitudes, serve the Lord though it may seem contrary to the world, but you will never regret it as opposed to loving the world and soon coming to regret.
