*[John 14:18TPT “I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!]*

In this journey of life, it’s possible to go through situations until you feel you are all alone and helpless because you have tried everything you know and nothing seems to be happening. However, no matter how helpless you feel, Jesus assured us in our opening verse that He will never leave us alone, helpless or as orphans. He promised to send another Helper. Verse 26 says *”But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name..”* So the Helper is the Holy Spirit. This promise was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost when the Father send the Holy Spirit. So now, the Helper, the Holy Spirit, is in the heart of every born again believer. If you are born again, the Holy Spirit dwells in you as our Helper. So you can never be helpless. No matter how helpless the situation is, never say “I don’t have anyone to help me… I am helpless..” When you talk like that 1 Thes 5:19 says you quench or surpress the Holy Spirit. So the situation will overwhelm you. So be conscious of the Helper in you. Psalm 54:4 says *”Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.”* Affirm that the Lord is your Helper, for surely, you are not alone in that situation, the Holy Spirit is with you as your HELPER, COMFORTER, STRENGTHENER, CONSELOR & INTERCESOR and He will uphold you and pull you through to your next level in life.
