[Psalm 119:89: Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.]

I have heard some people say “If the Word of God is true, why am I going through this?” Our opening verse tells us the Word of God is already established in heaven. It cannot fail. However, Psalm 115:16 says “the heavens belongs to God, but the earth He has given to the children of men.” So the earth is the domain of man. So though the Word of God is established in heaven, it is our responsibility to establish it on earth. It is our responsibility to establish God’s Word in our lives. So we don’t ask” if the Word of God is true, why is this happening in my life?” Instead, we say “the Word of God says this, therefore I refuse this to happen in my life.” Understand God created us in His image. We are not slaves. We are His offsprings, we bear His life and spirit nature and therefore we have to take a stand based on the Word of God. Don’t just submit to evil situations crying to God for help. Find out what the Word says about your life and establish it in your life by affirming it and refusing to accept anything contrary from the enemy.
