When it comes to the sin of sexual immorality, God does not tell us to fight, he doesn’t tell us to bind anything, He tells us to flee. To flee is to run away, just as Joseph fled from Potipher’s wife who was trying to lure him into adultery. Joseph did not say let me go but we will not do anything, he did not say let me stay but I will say no, Joseph fled away and God says this is what should be done. God is simply saying take sexual sin seriously. He explains why – every other sin is outside the body, but sex is spiritual. Every man, every woman U see is a spirit being. They are not just physical beings. So when you sleep with someone you become one with the spirits in them. So apart from other sins, sexual sin makes you one with spirits in the other person. So you find yourself behaving in a way you don’t understand because the spirits begin to control your life. That is why a 40 year old married man becomes confused with a 20 year old girl, young enough to be his daughter. So flee sexual sins, cut off immoral relationships, don’t pray over them, don’t seek counseling, it’s about your life, just cut them off.
