The Apostle Paul in our opening verse is giving an overview of his life and walk with the Lord. He makes a very astonishing statement – that God separated him from the mother’s womb and called him by His grace! Are you aware the same applies to you? Maybe you are wondering why is my life so different? Why do I find myself going a different direction when everyone else seems to be going in a different way? Why do you find yourself hating evil when many seems to be embracing the wrong things? Why is it you can’t talk in a certain way, dress in a certain way, go to clubbing like everyone else? It’s because God separated you from your mother’s womb. In every generation, God sets apart certain individuals for the purpose of using them to fulfill His purposes. In John 15:16, Jesus says *”You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit..”* So God has chosen you & separated you for His own purposes, that you should bear fruits in every area of your life. So stop comparing yourself with the multitudes, don’t compete with anyone, for your pathway is different. For God has chosen you and separated you for His own purposes. Like Paul, be conscious of this reality and always affirm it and you will always be at peace. Glory to God.
