*21 DAYS OF TRANSFORMATION: YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT TO BECOME A CHILD OF GOD:*

Think about a boy born in the streets and have no idea who their father is. Then one day, someone runs their story in the Newspapers, the president saw the story and he issued instructions that he is adopting the boy as his own child. What a transformation! The boy used to sleep in the streets but now the president, has given them the right to move to state house, live the King’s children lifestyle, access King’s children education, access everything the president’s child is supposed to access. Though the boy has been given the privilege to become a child of the King, he has to transfer from the street life, to his new life Kings palace. However, months later the boy has not moved bcoz he’s finding it difficult to leave his street life, street glue, street friends etc. This sounds foolish but that’s what many Christians do. Our opening verse says, we were given “the right to become’ God’s children. Notice – we were given ‘the right to become.’ This means after salvation, there is a transformation that should take place. God does not force us to change & become His children, He only makes it possible for us to change. Like the street boy who was given the right to a better, higher life, God has given us the right to a higher life in Christ. A life of righteousness. A life of glory. A life of divine health free from sickness. A life free from poverty & lack. However, we must transform to become a child of God. This is what Romans 12:2 says *’do not conform to this world…. be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’* Unfortunately, like the street boy, many Christians are are holding on to the old life, conforming to the world. They hold on to the worldly lifestyle, worldly entertainment, worldly company, worldly sins & evil. Would you TRANFORM??
